Aafia is an icon in Pakistan and there are high emotions of sad
and anger among the masses because of her plight .The Pakistani
government should show their sentiments and write a letter to
President Obama for her early release. She lives in peoples’ heart. I
will talk to American officials for her immediate release.
I saw sentiments for Aafia in each and every hook and corner of
Karachi and Islamabad where ever I visited. There were huge
turnouts of the people chanting slogans in her favor and against
Pakistani and American Governments’ cold attitute towards her
ordeal.
Dr.Aafia Siddiqi is innocent and has been victimised by the
international politics for power. I haven’t witnessed such bare
injustice in my entire career. Neither did Dr. Aafia kill anyone, nor did
she attempt at. Infact she was shot thrice and should be released
immediately. Relations between Pakistan and the U.S could be
strengthened through repatriation of Dr. Aafia.
Clark expressed his intention to gather people in America for one
point agenda of Dr.Aafia’s repatriation. Significant peace and justice
activists will join me in promoting this agenda. Under the law, justice
should be provided to each and everyone without any condition.
The nation’s voice at the state level could play a significant role in
Dr.Aafia’s repatriation.
I would raise voice for her repatriation at all levels in U.S.A
